2 Timothy 2:5 'And if a man also strive for masteries, [yet] is he not crowned, except he strives lawfully.' (KJV)

They who seek to master in what they do, to the best of the best, must learn the rules of the game first. It is a man who excels at the rules that masters a matter.

Everything in this world has principles that govern it. Even a man serving God has principles they ought to follow, without which he cannot be crowned.

Sometimes the principles matter more than the crown.

In everything you do, ask yourself what rules are set for my race. Once you fully understand them, then you have the crown.
