One of the things that God has helped me understand is to know his mind, and to understand how I ought to walk in his thoughts for my life. It's one thing to know the mind of God; it is another thing to walk in it. For there be many who even after they have known the mind of God, they would rather negotiate a place of compromise before God.
The verse shows us the questions that Paul sets forth. Who has known the mind of God? Who hath been his counsellor? Paul was asking these in light of the fact that people wanted to question the ways of God. Why would God save the gentile, who does not walk by the statutes of the law?
Child of God, if there's still a place in your heart to ask God, why? You have never truly understood his will. Because to understand God's will is to fully embrace that which God has created you to be. This begins when you understand that God is the Potter and we are the clay. Clay does not suggest to the Potter what vessel it should be. Learn to associate yourself fully to the things God has set in your life.
Prophetic Declarations
Father God, I thank you because you have set eternity in my heart; that I understand what I have been created to be and identify myself totally to your divine mandate. Amen.
