Topic : The Good Way of Rest

Jeremiah 6:16 "Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where [is] the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk [therein]." (KJV)

One of the things that wise men understand is to find the good ways prepared by God for their life and stick to them. Most people never realise that the instructing ways are those God established long ago in your life.

The verse speaks of the good path on which to take. To find these instructing ways, one must ask themselves; when I was powerless, how did God speak to me? Which path/people did he use to save me?

God's instructive ways are those that already worked for you.

When you study the man Saul in the Old Testament, you discover that when he was nothing, God made him king. But when he became king, he forgot the God of Israel. Always ask yourself, when I was nothing, what path did God use? Once you find it, never leave that path because that is the good way that will take you where you are going.
