Matthew 10:8 "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give." (KJV)

Have you ever wondered why some people find it easy to understand spiritual things and some do not? Some find it easy to walk in the grace of God and some do not? This springs from how one received.

The verse shows us how Jesus bestowed upon his disciples the ministry of to perform miracles, he gave them his power freely so he charged them to use it freely, likewise also in life; people tend to create a certain life around others based on how they received.

You can only love people to the extent to which you received God's love.

The things you easily walk out of are the things you did not really sacrifice for, the people you easily forget are the ones you have never sacrificed for, this explains why it's easy for a child to hate their parents but almost impossible for a parent to hate their own child the difference is in the sacrifices that the parent did for the child. Therefore how you receive informs how you give.
