HEALING

August 15, 2025

Topic : God’s Will For His Children

1 Peter 2:24 “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” (KJV)

Healing is not merely God’s occasional kindness — it is part of the covenant inheritance of every believer. From Genesis to Revelation, God reveals Himself as a healer.

Jesus’ ministry was saturated with acts of healing — the blind received sight, the lame walked, the lepers were cleansed, and even the dead were raised (Matthew 11:5). These miracles were not just proof of His divinity; they were a manifestation of the Father’s will for His people.

Healing is not just a mere concept in Christianity, it’s God’s divine will for man.

At the cross, healing was secured alongside forgiveness of sins. The stripes on Jesus’ back were not random suffering — they were the divine transaction through which our physical, emotional, and spiritual healing was purchased.

Yet, many believers live beneath this promise because they see healing as uncertain rather than assured. Faith is the hand that receives what grace has already provided.

Prophetic Declarations

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of healing purchased through the blood of Jesus. I receive it for my body, soul, and spirit. I renounce every sickness, pain, and infirmity, and I declare that by the stripes of Jesus, I am healed. Let Your healing power flow through me, bringing restoration to others as well. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
