GROWING YOUR ENVIRONMENT

June 7, 2023

Topic: Growth By Principle
Genesis 42:6 "And Joseph [was] the governor over the land, [and] he [it was] that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph's brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him [with] their faces to the earth." (KJV)

Have you ever asked yourself a question why when you leave certain places, you seem to progress? Likewise, when you walk away from certain people, certain drama stops in your life. The reason why some people remain average is that they hold onto things that they ought to walk away from.

The verse shows us that Joseph became the governor of Egypt. And his brothers bowed to him. As long as Joseph was in his father's house, he remained the last born; the boy who is tortured; the boy who is sold into slavery until he was in Egypt.

Sometimes to grow, you must change your environment.

Growing your environment does not mean that you should walk away from everything that seems not to work. But rather create an environment in which you are able to grow to your potential. If your environment is not expanding, your life is not expanding too.
