Topic: Maturity In Judgement

‍Philippians 1:9-10 "And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;" (KJV)

‍Have you ever noticed someone who looks wise but always makes the wrong choices? You observe their choice of partner or their choice of friends, and you are left wondering if truly they are as wise as they look.

‍Well, the verse tells us that there is a place where one must have his love abound in all knowledge and judgement if they will approve things excellent. It's one thing to look the part, it's another to walk the part.

‍Good judgement brings light unto a man's wisdom.

‍This is why we take time building a solid foundation in the word. Such that it is not merely about confessing positively, but also to carry wisdom enough to be sound in judgment and knowledge.

‍If a man's wisdom only leads them to look wise but cannot give them discernment to know how to walk circumspectly, then that man lacks good judgement.
