When you are done praying and making your requests known unto God, it's important to understand that he is not very far from you. It's God's good pleasure to answer your prayers.

The verse teaches us that he gives you peace beyond human understanding to preserve your heart. This is the confirmation of God's reply.

God's peace is the response to an answered prayer.

Therefore, as a man seeks to understand God's mind on a matter; he ought to examine the peace with which God has ministered to him.
