FINISHING WELL

November 15, 2022

2 Timothy 4:7 "I have fought the good (worthy, honorable, and noble) fight, I have finished the race, I have kept (firmly held) the faith." (AMP)

One of life's greatest principles is finishing well. Everyone can start a matter, everyone can have a dream, everyone can seek out purpose; but very few see the finishing line.

The verse shows us a conversation Paul was holding with Timothy. Speaking to him of how he had fought a good fight and kept the faith. We know it was a good fight because he finished it. This teaches us to learn not only to start but to finish well.

There is wisdom in starting but there is greater wisdom in finishing well.

The pattern of the man of wisdom is that whatever he does, he finishes well. It becomes important therefore for you to search areas in which you have not finished well and gain understanding.

Prophetic Declarations

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your grace not only to start but to finish well. I decree that I will finish well. Amen
