Topic : A Godly Leader

1 Peter 5:2 “Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.” (KJV)

When God gives you responsibility over his people, he has entrusted you to give guidance and provide sound leadership. It must never be of compulsion because God hates ruthless leaders.

The scripture teaches us the true pattern of leading; it says by being ensamples. A true leader shows his leadership when he goes ahead of his people and shows them the way. Even scripture knows the best way to teach is by showing.

The true Christian leader will guide by reason of exemplary living.

Therefore, it becomes of great importance firstly to walk in those things which a man alludes to teach and have the experience to share with those who pattern themselves after him.
