Topic: Why We Preach

John 6:47 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life." (KJV)

The reason we preach the gospel is so that we can have men possess the gift of God's life, which is everlasting life. The preaching of the gospel is never about extending religion but extending God.

Jesus assures us that whoever believes in him has everlasting life. It's not a promise, but he already has it.

Having Jesus is having life after the earthly time.

This is the sum of all our preaching. If the gospel is not producing men with it eternal life, it is religion and not the gospel.
