Topic: Being Commissioned by the Holy Ghost

Acts 13:4 "So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus." (KJV)

When we study the way the first disciples preached the gospel, we see that they were effective in their approach to reaching the lost, not because they had a lot of equipment and supplies but because they were commissioned by the Holy Ghost.

The verse shows us how Paul and Banarbas began their ministry at Selecuia. They were fully sent by the Holy Ghost. He decided what city they entered and how long they stayed there. These were not men of program and well-defined agendas. The Holy Ghost was their agenda.

Every evangelism drive must be driven by the Holy Ghost.

As you reach out to a soul, do not go in your strength but the power of God.
