Topic : Growing The Uncomfortable Places
Proverbs 25:28 “He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.” (KJV)
Emotional intelligence (EI) is the God-given ability to understand and manage your own emotions, and to wisely respond to the emotions of others. It is not weakness, but spiritual maturity in action. Many great biblical leaders—like Joseph, Daniel, and Jesus—displayed high emotional intelligence. They stayed composed in pressure, spoke wisely, and discerned people’s hearts without reacting in flesh.
In ministry, family, or business, your emotional intelligence can either open doors or quietly shut them. God doesn’t only want you anointed—He wants you emotionally stable, trustworthy, and a vessel that carries His heart well.
The character you never develop can determine the kind of doors that open in your life.
Maturity comes from addressing the uncomfortable flaws in your life. Every man that grows has learnt to address the most difficult aspects of their life — This is not exclusive to outward matters but also issues of the heart.

Prophetic Declarations
Father, thank You for giving me the mind of Christ and the fruit of the Spirit. Teach me to govern my emotions with wisdom, to speak with grace, and to respond with love even under pressure. Make me a vessel of emotional maturity that reflects Your heart to the world. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
