1 Peter 2:15 “For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:”

The scripture speaks of ignorant men; men who are void of knowledge and discernment to distinguish between falsehood and the truth of the word of God. These disrupt the faith of many, by their own mouths and actions.

The scripture above teaches us to continue doing well. In doing well, he is speaking of glorifying God with a godly life; in word, in faith, in deeds, secret and public. These things silence the ignorance of foolish men.

The best way to deal with the ignorance of foolish men, is to continually increase in the things of God.

‍

Be so sold out for God that no voice of ignorance will find you. Be so immersed in prayer that ignorant men will not see you. Be so one with God that the world will see JESUS beaming in your eyes.
