DAUGHTERS OF SARAH (PART 2)

July 15, 2023

#15DAYS to #LIC2023

Topic: The Woman Who Builds - The Queen
Esther 1:16-17 Memucan answered the king and his nobles, "Queen Vashti has wronged not only the king but also every noble and citizen throughout your empire. Women everywhere will begin to despise their husbands when they learn that Queen Vashti has refused to appear before the king." (NLT)

The story of Queen Vashti is a typical example of what can go wrong when a woman has never come under the tutelage of a father. Make no mistake, no mother can raise a true Queen. It takes the effort of a committed father to raise a proper Queen.

Vashti represents a class of ladies who can not build homes, visions, and marriages with great men. The problem here was that the Queen publicly disrespected her husband forgetting that he was a great man. It takes a raised woman to realise that she married a great man. Most women do not realise that it will take great humility to build great men.

Regardless of what heaviness as a lady you might carry, never wash your dirty linen with your husband publicly.

This explains why we advise men to find out the relationship of ladies with their fathers or male figures in their family. If it is not proper, no matter how great a man is; this woman will never be able to see the great responsibility of building that man. Queen Vashti did not realise that King Ahasuerus had an obligation to build a great kingdom.
A woman who builds a vision does not just walk into a man's life without purpose but carefully adapts herself to the call. It is important to learn to grow from being a desperate woman who needs a relationship to a woman who builds a generation.
