CREATING TIME FOR GOD

January 22, 2024

Topic : Developing Commitment To Things of God

John 15:4 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.” (KJV)

Jesus understood that a man’s spiritual life can only look as the amount of time he spends in the presence of God. This is why we see that in many places, he secluded himself and prayed alone always, to prepare for his ministry. Therefore, when he came out to meet people he walked in great power. Today, people want to be powerful publicly when they have no private time with God.

The verse tells us to abide in God and he shall also abide in us. The word abide is “Meno”. Which translates ‘stay/persist’ which means Jesus is teaching us to persist in the presence of God where by we can draw a functional spiritual life. A visiting Christian does not grow.

Creating time for God begins with our knowledge of him.

Begin with spending a tenth of your days time in the word and in prayer, and thereby build a consistent habit of reading the word. That little impartation of the word will by itself build an anointing that will push you into a habitual life of seeking God. This is because knowledge to sustain your fire will have been built.

Prophetic Declarations.

Hallelujah. Amen
