Most of them did not even know how they will make it to the next day, but many of them did flourish even without the support of those they thought were to help them. This is the same thing the verse above is teaching: that if a man has Christ, he can do all things. You will never know what you're truly capable of until you invite Christ in your life.

A man who knows God cannot fail.

The more you know God is the more you realize that fear is a myth written in men’s imagination. Just because your closest support is gone does not mean it is the end of your life. There is a God who causes men to flourish even in danger.
