The glory of our gospel is in the foundational truth of understanding that Christ was wrought in our hearts when we believed. That we might comprehend the glory of the new nature.

The verse summarizes the message which we preach, which is the mystery of the gospel among the gentiles; Christ in us the hope of glory. He does not say the good works we have done, but rather the one whom we believed.

Christ in you is the hope of glory.

‍

When you understand that it's this Christ in you; he will remove failure from your life, he will remove sin from your heart, because he is the hope of glory. It's him who sets us on course.
