Building Ministry

April 20, 2022

2 Kings 6:1-2 "THE SONS of the prophets said to Elisha, Look now, the place where we live before you is too small for us. Let us go to the Jordan, and each man get there a [house] beam; and let us make us a place there where we may dwell. And he answered, Go." (KJV)

In building ministry, it's one thing to teach men to understand how to be a part of the work and it's another when men understand by God how to build ministry. When God teaches a man to build ministry, he does not need to be reminded to look for a beam to construct the place of worship.

We see the sons of the prophets that attended the school of Elisha, by the Spirit of God, understood that the place where they lived became small and called the man of God to give them permission to expand it. This shows us that they understood the work of ministry.

When you have learnt well by God, no one reminds you to be a part of building the work of God.

Ministry grows when men begin to hear the voice of God even in the most trivial things. The beams of building signify the obedience of these men to the voice of God.
