BELIEVING RIGHT

February 2, 2023

Acts 27:10-11 "And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives. Nevertheless, the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul." (KJV)

Paul, as a prisoner, often was moved from city to city because of the nature of man he was. This did not stop him from hearing the voice of God. We see him fasting whilst being moved on the boat to which he gave the sailors and his masters a word of knowledge.

The verse shows us that after he had spoken to his jailer of the trouble he foresaw concerning the ship; the man believed him not but rather listened to the experienced captain and owners of the ship. When we continue reading, we see the ship broke down before landing.

Believing the promptings of the spirit saves life.

It's important to set your faith in the right direction; so that you are able to experience the grace of God in your life.
