Ephesians 4:14 "That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;" (KJV)

When you grow in the knowledge of God one of the things that become very apparent is that you will be grounded in doctrine. We know one has understood God when he is distinct in sound and in doctrine. Like wise we are able to tell a staggering Christian based on his instability in matters concerning doctrine.

The verse shows us that being no more children. Meaning you mature when you no longer get tossed about by all teaching. In January you are under a Prophetic ministry in December you are under an evangelical ministry, in April your under a deliverance ministry. This type of staggering leaves one half baked; they can not grow into the full stature of the measure of Christ.

Until a man settles in matters of doctrine he continues to error in matters of life.

Therefore quench the urge of becoming a spiritual tourist by establishing yourself in ministry that by that you might become what God called you to be. Once a man's doctrine is changed that man's faith is also altered.
