A HEART OF SERVICE

Topic : Developing a Serving Heart
Matthew 21:28-31 "But what think ye? A [certain] man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard. He answered and said, "I will not: but afterward, he repented and went. And he came to the second and said likewise. And he answered and said, I [go], sir: and went not. Whether of them twain did the will of [his] father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you." (KJV)

When you want to learn how to do the will of God, there is a fundamental principle you must understand; Developing a serving heart. I realised everyone who never truly serves God has a futurist approach to the things of God. Some believe that when they are older, they will serve better, others think that when they earn more, they will be able to give for kingdoms' sake, but all these are excuses of a rebellious heart.

Through the verse, we learn that one who went to his father's vineyard did the will of God. The secret of serving God is learning to be present in inconvenient times and develop a sacrificial approach to ministry.

A serving heart is a sacrificing heart.

If you are a person who loves to do things that are convenient to you, you may never fulfil the purposes of God upon your life. For example; if you wait for service to be set in a time when you are not working and you are not with your family, you may just never truly serve God. Ministry is about leaving something to do God's will for your life.

Prophetic Declarations.

Hallelujah. Amen
