A FATHER'S BLESSING V

December 22, 2023

Topic : The Distinction of  A Giving Heart
2 Samuel 7:15-16 "But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took [it] from Saul, whom I put away before thee. And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established forever before thee: thy throne shall be established forever." (KJV)

There were two kings that first ruled Israel. One was Saul, and the other was David. Saul, in all his reign, never took time to mind the work of God, so God cut his reign short and anointed David to take over from him. But we see David after God gave him rest from all his enemies. The first thing he thought was to build a house for God. Because of this, his kingdom was established forever, unlike his predecessor Saul.

Our verses show us that God spoke to David through Nathan, the prophet, after he desired to build a temple. That unlike Saul, his son would become king after him.

It's a giving heart that makes a distinction in ministry.

Even to this day, God is in the business of blessing men whose hands are not stingy towards his cause. I have observed people who found themselves in want because they treat the issue of giving with a strange mind.

Prophetic Declarations.

Hallelujah. Amen
