1 Kings 21:4 "And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread." (KJV)

Not every giving brings a blessing. From this series, we have learnt how to truly give. We see in this part the spirit of Jezebel, which comes in the name of the king, to take from men their inheritance. The verse shows us that Ahab desired to have a vineyard that belonged to Naboth; a thing Naboth refused to do. But later, Jezebel had him killed and gave the vineyard to Ahab.

This is why we warn ministers not to receive every giving, especially that which is inspired by Jezebel. That though you have received it, understand that it came by taking another man's life. One thing a person must understand before they give to Jezebelic spirits is that Jezebel is highly placed in the ranks and carries a look that seems to care about the King's affairs and yet is after men's lives and inheritances. For this reason, many people never discern Jezebel because she lives in the Palace.

The number one sign of giving to and by Jezebel is that you never progress.

You find a man who says he is supporting the work of God but is only going down. This comes because Jezebel writes letters of instructions in the name of the king, but the king never really sent her. In every ministry, before you start supporting a person financially regardless of how close they are to the man of God, ask yourself if they are authorised to do so. Or else you might be giving to a Jezebel and soon your life will start sinking.

Therefore, before you give make sure that you are not forced, that you cheerfully gave from your heart and that you gave to the cause of the gospel, because God's blessing can only rest upon you if your giving came to a just cause.
