A FATHER'S BLESSING I

December 18, 2023

Topic : Discerning the Blesser
Genesis 27:7 "Bring me venison, and make me savoury meat, that I may eat, and bless thee before the LORD before my death." (KJV)

One of the most abused scriptures and principles in the bible is the 'Father's Blessing'. In my years in ministry, I have seen men who assume a father's role in people's lives and even go ahead to receive from them gifts and pray a blessing on them that never stands. I have seen people come from being blessed to poor in the name of seeking a blessing.

When Isaac sent Esau for venison that he may eat and bless him, he did not do it lightly. He was indeed Esau's Father both physically and spiritually. And whatever he spoke upon him, it stood there after. But I have seen people in ministry floss others, assuming roles they are not called to, and sadly some people can not even discern that the person who takes from them does not carry the power to bless because he does not qualify to be a father.

Until God establishes you in the lineage of patriarchs, never take of any man's substance in the name of venison.

Both the purported blesser and the one sowing end up walking in a life of struggle because they do not discern spiritual laws. The scripture is clear in (Heb 7:7). It's the greater that blesses the lesser. You can never receive a blessing from a man who didn't build you.

Learn to discern struggling believers in ministry who can not settle down to work for themselves but are always seeking whom to turn into a personal partner. Most people are busy sowing in the spirit of failed men and therefore reap the same.

Prophetic Declarations.

Hallelujah. Amen
