Colossians 1:7 "As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellow servant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;"

In the scriptures, there are names that you will always hear mentioned with great emphasis on their faithfulness and hard work even though they were not necessarily preachers but were rather helpers of the preachers. Epaphras is one such man that is mentioned in more than one book of the bible. To this day, such men are still necessary in ministry.

The verse speaks of this man as a fellow worker and minister of Christ, as one dependable; who had the concern for the churches at Phillipi. Reading of such individuals makes you wonder if today there are still such men that exist? Most ministers today only care if they can have an opportunity to stand before people to preach rather than the concern to build the work.

A faithful minister is one that has a genuine concern for the work of Christ.

Therefore, every minister should pray for God to supply such ministers in abundance that have the heart of ministry and the concern for the brethren.
