Topic : The Preserving Power of Wisdom

Ecclesiastes 7:12 “For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.” (KJV)

When it comes to life, there is a measure given to men for every dimension they access. Every level you are able to walk into requires another set of principles to be able to walk therein. Those who have discovered this, have mastered the beauty of life through this wisdom of God.

The verse speaks of a very powerful aspect of wisdom. That wisdom can preserve whosoever possesses it. The ESV bible uses the word preserve. This is powerful! For example; a man can have the wisdom to buy a house but if he does not access a particular dimension in wisdom that preserves it, he will soon be back to renting.

Wisdom to build is great but wisdom to preserve is even greater.

This is the cardinal difference between men who surfacely touch the grace of life and those who go on to flourish in the courts of God.
