1Corinthians 3:6-7 (I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.)

 We cannot talk about the spirit of poverty without talking about how to increase in life. You have to understand both concepts to become a complete Christian.

It is necessary to discuss these things in the gospel for there are people who do not want to hear about prosperity, increase or growth in the gospel. There are doctrines the Bible refers to as foundations. However, the book of Hebrews encourages us to leave the foundations and come up to maturity.

Do not be like others who are forever desiring foundations hence you have to get to a point where you can listen to a message shared among the mature!

 It's only God that causes a man to increase.The spirit of poverty is the mindset that causes people not to increase.  Most Christians do not know that it's the good pleasure and will of God to see them prosper and increase! That is why some go ahead and justify poverty, lack, failure and backwardness because they can find verses in the Bible that agree with their assertions.

 Never be seated in your house and consider the things you have failed in and say it is the will of God. Note that it is thegoodwill of God to give you the Kingdom! You shouldn't go to prayer with the mind that God is not willing and able to answer. God does not need reminding,it's his pleasure to give you the kingdom and increase you. Understand that it is God who gives the increase.

 Many times, you fall into the temptation of covetousness when you do not know that it is God who causes a man to increase.

 Learn to love progress. Train your heart to love progress in everything you do.

 There are three (3) problems that cause people not to increase. They include; 

1. Not understanding the concept of seed time and harvest. Child of God   understand the season you're in. Know where you are at for the race is not  to the swift.

2. Some people  are more conscious of failure than they are of succeeding. God loves men who are optimistic in their approach to life. Leave a provision in your     life where God is able. Have the mindset that you're a child of God and  you are blessed!

3. Some underestimate the task. The reason why people fail is that they do not  understand what it is going to take. Some are determined to fail before  they start.

For you to increase, think like this; God does not only  provide seed that is requisite for you to do what you are supposed to do     but also ministers bread to the eater(you). Nevertheless, for one ready to   progress, there is bread to eat, and then God multiplies you to enjoy what  he has set you up for. For God knows that while you are sowing, you need  to harvest.

The wisdom of God is such that you are not at the same level at all times. If you are stuck, you do not please God.

In the same place he gives you seed, he gives you bread.

In the same place where God is beginning you,is the same place where he is going to accomplish things for you.

He sees the end from the start.

The wisdom of increase begins when you see theend from the start.

Someone succeeds long before they start.

Your conscience should see the success.
